Hmmm. Strange.

I just think this whole situation was just caused by some terrible misunderstandings because of your - sorry, but I have to put it that way - rather confusing useage of the german language, Brenna.

No offense to you, not at all, but sometimes it was even hard to guess what the main intention of your words may have been. I admit that the german language is a rather difficult one to learn so I liked that you at least gave it a try.

But sorry, it just didn`t work out. It just makes no sense when you try it over and over again and people still just do not understand what you would like to tell them... Mainly just because they will have to guess, which is leaving just too many possible ways of interpretation of your words.

So it`s not about mistakes. Anyone makes mistakes, even in his or her own language, not just in foreign ones. My english for example is rather bad by now after not having english lessons for 12 long years. Still I strongly believe we will understand eachother better when we are communicating that way.

Well, I guess we should just calm down a little bit and just continue the discussion in english. Where`s the problem with that? There`s absolutely no reason anyone should be angry... this was all just about language-problems and nothing else.

I'm fearing all the "what?" "in english please?" going on for several pages... This is Tattoo-Forum. People are here to talk about tattoos, they are not here for guessing what you're trying to say. This has been explained to you a couple of times. Why is it so hard for you to understand?

THIS is childish.

What the heck is childish about asking you to communicate in a way that everyone can understand?! No one wanted to offend you. No one is frustrated. Just getting pissed off by the stubborness with which you try to use your "German" - which is simply by no means understandable. That's all.
It has absolutely nothing to do with "showing respect" when you pop in and crash discussions with some gibberish that might sound german to you, but leaves all of us confused.
Of course you are invited to take interest in our culture and TALKING to people (in real life that is) is an excellent way to learn the language. Writing nonsense in forums just isn't.

Und um mal was konstruktives beizusteuern:
Wenn du in Deutschland bist, kauf dir deutsche Bücher (möglichst welche, die du kennst) oder DVDs von Filmen mit deutscher Tonspur und englischen Untertiteln. Das bringt dir mehr, wenn du lernen willst, wie deutsch formuliert wird.
Denn wenn du hier bist, werden die leute entweder
a) englisch mit dir reden, oder
b) so unverständlichen dialekt, daß jeder normale Mensch Schwierigkeiten hätte, zu verstehen, worum es geht
c) deine Fehler aus Höflichkeit nicht korrigieren.
