Like every person on the planet I started drawing when I was a young kid, but I never actually got serious with it, until I entered the graffiti scene through some friends I had met. During that time is when my talent for drawing really got pushed to the limits and I always had to further expand my talent by trying new tactics and ways to draws styles, characters or blend colors. I was an grade A student in my art class all throughtout high school, and my teachers always told me I should go to art school because of my creativity. Needless to say I never did. After I got my first tattoo which is now more then 10yrs ago, I was hooked and knew that this is what I wanted to do for a living. Unfortunately life had other plans for me. I could never figure out how to get into the lifestyle when I was living in Germany and when I moved to Texas in 2003 I couldnt find an apprenticeship position anywhere. I moved back to Germany shortly after, to find out that a good friend of mine who I knew back in the graffiti days had become a tattoo artist and opened a shop in Wuerzburg. Instead of working for him I went to Graphic Design School in Wuerzburg. After that I tried my hand in a few different jobs- hospital supply, car sales. When I moved to Arizona I finally decided to pursue this year long dream of becoming a tattoo artist. I tried everywhere but no luck. I went and got a tattoo @ Alley Kat Tattoo in Peoria and the guys there were all cool. I ended up spending a lot of free time hanging around the shop as much as I could in my free time, helping out whenever I could with paperwork for customers or what not and eventually, after 5 months of hanging around, Ebon decided to take me on and teach me. I worked hard and learned everything I could the first year, but at the same time realized how badly that shop was run, and that my mentor didnt have much of a clue because towards the end before I left there, my lines were better then his. I ended up leaving there a few months ago after having made many good friends and connection in the tattoo industry in Arizona. I have been tattooing out of my house since then, with my own little studio setup in one of the rooms of my house. Despite all that, I always yearn to go back to Germany where I grew up, get out of this country and do what I love doing the most- tattooing.
So ich hoffe das wahr jetzt nicht zu schwer zu lesen aber haette ich versucht das ganze in Deutsch zu schreiben haette ich es nie geschafft haah.
